EPSS 200A: Physics of Earth and Planets
EPSS 200A is intended for graduate students who are interested in understanding the physics of planets, broadly defined, with an emphasis on understanding the interior properties of Earth and other planetary bodies. Advanced undergraduates (who enroll in EPSS 152) and postdocs are welcome to participate as well.
Course Goals:
- To provide the foundations needed to understand and/or participate in research related to planetary geophysics.
- To describe planetary interior properties, both from observational and theoretical standpoints.
- To foster interdisciplinary knowledge in EPSS and other departments.
